Well this week my house got sold. So it seems like I are making progress. It will take about 6 weeks for the sale to come through, which will be at the end of March, but that’s ok because I am quite confident that everything will fall into place, as I am planning to leave around about the 7th April.
I listed my car for sale on the internet and a few other things.
I am thinking of buying a plot at the sea and building a wooden home on it then rent it out while I am away. My parents live at this village and can manage it for me.
We introduced the new sock loom at work and I had to quickly make a pattern instruction leaflet for the loom, for some reason the factory did not include this in the box. I came up with a sock pattern and a fingerless glove as well as an infinitive scarf. So look out for it in the wool shops.
Little Lily is getting so big and has started to walk already. She is so cute and the apple of granny’s eye. I cant wait to see this little Sugar Plum!!!
I finish up at work this Friday so its going to be a long day. Here is a pattern to download
Enjoy and chat when I am in the UK.
Well last weeks blog finally went out after trying to find all the right buttons to press. lol!!! Sorry if you got some junk in error!!!
Thanks once again for all the lovely messages and I hope you all were able to download the pattern.
This week, is one of suspense as my house is going up for auction on Thursday. I am expecting a good response and the beginning of everything falling into place, so I can make the final move. There are still a lot of things to do e.g. sell my car and the contents of my flat and lastly to say my final goodbyes. (I hate goodbyes!!!)
Our Winter 2014 launch went off very well and we saw some lovely garments on the catwalk. I am so excited about our new winter range of wool. We brought back the sock wool, a new 100% wool and a few new creations which I am sure you will all be excited about.
Our reps are busy doing the rounds now to the wool shop and I am sure by the end of the month you can visit your wool shops and see the new range.

Well, Iet me start at the beginning, as most of you don’t know why I am moving to the UK.
In 2004 my husband passed away and left me with 4 children ages 21, 20, 17 and 14 and totally bankrupt. No will or life policy!!! I was devastated!!
He work for Department of Education and I received a Government Pension payout and my sister-in-law in Scotland invited my daughter Hailey to come and au-pair for her. I gave my daughter the money and told her to spread her wings and fly!! She did!!
She met and married her husband Peter and they now have a little girl called Lily who has just turned one on the 24th December.
I went over to Callender for the birth of Lily in 2012. What a lovely little town. Hailey’s in-laws own the Scottish Hostel and they invited me to come and work for them. (www.scottish-hostel.com).
My mom was born British and so I applied for my Ancestral Visa. Within 4 days my visa was approved!!!
I resigned from work with my last working day being the 28th February and right of access to the UK starting from the 1st March. I am just waiting to sort my house out and sell all my stuff off , including my car then I will be on the plane and off to the UK to start my new life.
I had such an overwhelming response from my email informing everyone I was leaving.
I just want to thank everybody for such kind words and send out a link to a new pattern. It’s a lovely crochet ladies top. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/5l1i22xkl3ciwtg/31JPCT8izT
